Felipe Yanez

Felipe Mosqueda, the founder of Mile High Wine Tours, has been a wine aficionado for many years. He began to truly explore his fascination with wine by hosting regular Champagne and wine charity events as he traveled and lived around the world. As he returned to Denver, he continued his passion for wine, and for connecting people together and giving to worthy causes through his numerous charity events at some of Denver’s best wine venues. He quickly became the “go-to person” for the best wine spots in the Mile High City. In 2013 he began offering wine tasting and soon Mile High Wine Tours was created. “I’ve always felt that the Mile High City had so much to offer in a very relaxed approachable manner for any level of wine preference or experience. Few locals know of the great wineries in downtown Denver alone…and I love sharing these new discoveries and bringing together people, wines, and food that exemplify the progressive unique style of the mile-high wine country.”.

I discovered my passion for wine in 2010. Since then, I have strived to make wine tasting not only enjoyable and educational but approachable! I am a sommelier and WSET 2 certified, and I am fascinated by the romance and history behind wine. There is so much to learn about wine, but one of the best things to take away from a tasting experience is an understanding of which wines you like, and why you like them. Choosing wine in a store or restaurant can be daunting with all of the options out there (and let's face it, we've all chosen the bottle with the prettiest label!) but after your tasting, you'll be able to make an informed decision and choose the perfect wine for any occasion.

James Blanchard

Blanchard Family Wines is the creation of James & Mark Blanchard, two brothers with a shared passion for fine wines. They offer hand-crafted, artisan selections that truly showcase a sense of place, and exhibit boutique winemaking techniques. Their wines, from various appellations of California and Colorado, are extremely low-production and limited in availability. Each wine is a unique gem in the bottle and meant to be shared with friends and family. Visit us at the Dairy Block, where we bring an incredible wine country experience to downtown Denver.

Mark Blanchard

Welcome to Blanchard Family Wines. This family-owned wine label is the creation of two brothers, James and Mark Blanchard, with a common passion for fine wines. Suz Stewart

Suz Stewart comes to us from the Northern California wine regions, and lived and worked in Napa. She holds a certificate in enology and viticulture for UC Davis's Wine Executive Program, Suz was previously the Director of Human Resources for Golden State Vintners, one of the largest suppliers of grapes in the state. She recently completed the American Wine Expert course through the Napa Valley Wine Academy.

Cassie Sullivan

Cassie started her career in marketing and special events at the corporate level, working for law firms in Houston and Denver. After staying home with her children for several years, she decided to return to event planning and marketing focusing on the hospitality industry. She joined Troy Guard’s TAG Restaurant Group as the Director of Marketing & Events, overseeing events at TAG and Guard & Grace and focusing on marketing efforts for his 6 concepts. Since then, she has worked with other well-respected restaurant groups in Denver including Richard Sandoval Restaurants, Brunson Concepts, Breckenridge Wynkoop, and PunchBowl Social.
